COOPERATION BETWEEN FRANCE AND ITALY. THE TWO MUNICIPALITIES ARE BOUND BY HISTORICAL FACTS TAKEN PLACE IN APRIL 1544 IN CERESOLE D’ALBA. SAINT PAUL DE VENCE CONSERVES STILL TODAY AN ANCIENT CANNON THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN DIRECTLY BY FRANCIS I TO THE FRENCH COMMUNITY AS THANKFULNESS FOR THE VALUES DURING THE BATTLE
